Our Aim
White Tiger Karate offers Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate training to adults and youth 14+ in the tradition of the Meibukan school. Our philosophy is practical application in a traditional context. We are affiliated with Gloucester Traditional Karate Association under Sensei Hing-Poon Chan. Learn more about our history and style here.

Curriculum at all belt levels includes:
Kihon (fundamentals)
Kata (Goju-Ryu and Meibuken forms)
Kumite (pre-arranged sparring)
Bunkai (interpretation and application of kata)
Padwork
Ground grappling and self defence

Instructors
Our instructors are Sensei Gregg Wade, Godan (5th degree black belt) and Sensei Zach Yuen, Yondan (4th degree black belt). Both Sensei Gregg and Sensei Zach also hold the rank of Godan (5th degree black belt) in the art of Jukoshin Ryu Jujitsu. Dan Dutcher, Sandan (3rd degree black belt) is dojo Sempai.

We are located at 745 Development Drive in the YGK Combatives facility. Classes are Fridays and Sundays from 5:45-7 PM.
Fees
Fees
Membership dues are $40 monthly. For new students the first two classes are free.
